First of all, I’d like to thank all of the people that have sent me encouraging messages about my website and have “liked” my page on facebook; I also greatly appreciate the very few people that went out of their way to follow me on twitter – Pittsburgh sports connoisseur Dejan Kovacevic started following me the other day, running my number up to an impressive three non-family twitter followers … so thank you all very much for any and all support.
I work, so I can’t always be writing for fun, but I am in the process of trying to think of things that are easy for me to do in between articles (Dan Bylsma article coming on Friday) in order for you to waste some time at work.
And as I got thinking, one thing that I always did at work, that would take up literally days of time, was watch old school wrestling videos – combine that with the fact I have a plethora of annoying people on Facebook putting up “Throwback Thursday” Pictures (even worse is a more recent development known as “Flashback Friday”) and a light bulb went off: As a result of my love for wasting time at work, and my disdain for pretentious Facebook friends…I came up with, alliteration aside, Wrestling Wednesdays.
There is no rhyme or reason for Wrestling Wednesdays, my only goal is to provide you with entertaining clips (mostly from the 80’s or 90’s), that either make you laugh or flashback to a time when wrestling was great.
So without further adieu, in honor of my first Wrestling Wednesday, I call upon a man that could never disappoint, even the staunchest of non-wrestling fans…The Nature Boy, Ric Flair. So ladies and gentlemen, please enjoy my favorite Ric Flair promos of all-time, accompanied by my favorite parts in quotation marks…I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
That should account for around 24 minutes of work time wasted…And don't even think about you tubing other wrestling links from your childhood, because that could take days…
